The HOPP DISAIN gallery shop, operated by the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, is located in the heart of Tartu’s Old Town. The store brings together the creations of local designers and those connected to Tartu.
HOPP DISAIN has multiple functions. It serves as a springboard for local emerging designers, providing them with their first sales platform. At the same time, it also sells works from well-known designers. Visitors, both locals and tourists, can find unique design gifts for various occasions.
In the HOPP DISAIN store, designers and small producers have the opportunity to meet with individual customers and businesses seeking distinctive regional designs and one-of-a-kind gifts. The store offers a wide range of local designer products, including jewelry, bags, clothing, shoes, knitwear, and art. There’s also a small home décor section featuring design lamps, home textiles, ceramics, candles, and clocks.
We organize pop-up sales and events showcasing the work of Estonian designers.

FOR DESIGNERS
There are two important conditions for offering your products at HOPP DISAIN store:
You must have your own business.
You must be a designer from Tartu County or Southern Estonia. If you’re from another part of Estonia, you should have a connection to Tartu.
If these two conditions are met, you are welcome to apply with your products for our store.

Our 3-member commission reviews applications monthly and makes decisions. The selection process considers both the design value of the product and its potential for display in our small design shop.
If we accept your products for sale, there is a 3-month trial period. Therefore, it is important for the designer to promote their product as being available in our store.
Our store designers are part of the regional design network. We organize a few special events and meetings for them throughout the year.
All designers have the opportunity to apply for a one-month Pop-Up opportunity in our store. This includes more attention, a prime sales spot in Tartu’s Old Town, and increased visibility in our social media channels and LMK newsletters.
