Osaleda saavad ettevõtted või äriideed, mille arendamisel on loovusel või innovatiivsusel oluline roll ning mis:

otsivad lisarahastust ja investoreid
vajavad tuge arenguhüppe tegemiseks
omavad selget turupotentsiaali ja konkurentsieelist
on juhitud entusiastlike ja ambitsioonikate inimeste poolt

Taotlus võistlusel osalemiseks tuleb saata hiljemalt 20. veebruaril, võistlusele valitakse 8 finalisti, kes saavad võimaluse pitchida sTARTUp Dayl investorite ja žürii ees.

Kõik lõppvõistlusele pääsenud võistlejad saavad esimese auhinnana tasuta sTARTUp Day ürituste pileti, mis sisaldab ka ligipääsu investorkohtumistele.

Võistluse žüriisse kuuluvad Tartu Loomemajanduskeskuse, Tallinna Loomeinkubaatori, Loov Eesti, Tartu Linnavalitsuse, Tartu 2024 esindajad. Auhindade hulgas on inkubaatorite poolt välja pandud tasuta koolitusi, mentorkohtumisi või inkubatsiooniprogramm, Loov Eesti paneb välja finaalikoha Creative Business Cup – globaalse ärivõistluse Eesti eelvooru. Mitmed lisanduvad auhinnad on selgumisel. Võistluse peaauhinnaks on 3000 euro suurune rahaline arengutoetus ettevõttele või selle juhile.

Tartu Centre for Creative Industries invites creative entrepreneurs to Creative Industries` pitching competition at sTARTUp Day 2023, the biggest business festival in the Baltics.

You can apply for the competition if you have:
• a creative startup or a plan to start one and are looking for investors
• a business idea or existing business where creative competencies or creative innovation play an important role
• a clear market potential and a competitive advantage
• an enthusiastic team with relevant experience and skillset combining creative and business skills

Do not hesitate to send your application to the pitching competition that will take place on 17 March at 11 am in Tartu.

Judges and prizes

The eight finalists will be chosen by the jury at the end of February. The Top 8 teams will be competing for prizes by Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, Tallinn Creative Incubator, Tartu 2024, Creative Estonia, and the city of Tartu. The prizes include free training, mentoring, or incubation services in either Tartu or Tallinn creative incubator, the opportunity to pitch at the Estonian Finals of the globally renowned Creative Business Cup competition in Norway, and several other surprise prizes.

The main award is 3000 euros in cash, which will be given out at the sTARTUp Day final award ceremony.

TIMELINE

20 February – Deadline for applications

21-22 February – Evaluation of the startups

1 March – Announcing publicly the Top 8 teams who will pitch at sTARTUp Day

6 March – Pitching training for the Top 8 teams

17 March, 11:00 – Pitching at sTARTUp Day pitching stage & awards

17 March, 15:00 – Awarding the main prize at the sTARTUp Day final award ceremony
